I’m jamming to No Mediocre by T.I. and Iggy right now and it dawned on me… I’ve been fucking with Iggy from the get-go and now she has the number one song in America for five weeks straight. This confirms a couple of things:

1. America is severely slow at responding to new trends, artists, and the future in general
2. Everything I invest time and interest in comes out on top in the end

So congrats girl, for finally getting your shine on.
I may not be the biggest fan of her debut album (because it’s horribly mainstream & reaching) but I still get surprised and influenced by her work whole-heartedly. Murda Bizness was my theme song for 2012, she honestly killed that shit. It’s nice to see female rappers on the immediate rise. Gon Girlll!
